Safety UPVC French Windows

UK building regulations stipulate that every home must have a minimum of one window that can open fully in case of an emergency. French windows can be opened from both sides, making them compliant with with fire safety laws.

French windows work in the same way as French doors. One of the windows is called the master and can open freely, whilst the other is called the slave which can only be opened when the master is open. As the windows open fully, there is an additional shoot bolt and espagnolette safety feature on the slave window in addition to the floating mullion.

We provide seven standard colours including white, cream, light grey, dark grey, light green, and dark green. If you prefer the look of wood French windows but like the durability, efficiency and overall finish of uPVC, we are able to supply an Irish oak, golden oak, white ash, rosewood, or mahogany wood grain finish.
You can even choose your desired glazing finish, including lead work or astragal Georgian bars.
