Although each of the four properties in this luxury home project had its own character, the finished look needed to feel connected. From the start, our team worked closely with the overall design brief to ensure that every element, from doors and windows to glazing and exterior features, complemented both the individual properties and the development as a whole.
For luxury home projects involving multiple properties, consistency matters. Each home must look right on its own, but also sit comfortably alongside the others. To achieve this balance, a combination of composite, timber and flush doors were selected. These options offered strong security, durability and a refined appearance that suited the style of the homes. The doors helped introduce definition to each entrance while maintaining a coordinated look across all four properties. The windows were chosen with similar care. Contemporary frames with clean sightlines helped enhance the external appearance while also improving energy efficiency. Well-designed windows do more than frame a view, they shape the feel of a home both inside and out.
One of the most important parts of the project was maximising natural light. Well-placed glazing can dramatically change how a space feels, making interiors appear brighter, more open and more connected to the outdoors.
Large bi-fold doors were installed to open up key living spaces to the gardens. When closed, they provide expansive views and allow natural light to flood into the home. When open, they create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, making them ideal for entertaining or relaxing in warmer months.
Generous glazing and carefully planned openings ensured that daylight reached deeper into each property. Rather than being simple, functional additions, the windows and doors became an essential part of the homes’ overall design.
The project also included several architectural additions designed to improve both the appearance and functionality of the homes. Elegant balconies were introduced to provide elevated outdoor space and extend views across the surrounding area. Orangeries added extra living areas filled with natural light, creating comfortable spaces that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Roof lanterns played an important role here as well. By introducing additional height and overhead glazing, they helped bring even more daylight into each living space. Frameless glass balustrades completed the look, offering a modern touch while maintaining clear sightlines.
Every material used was chosen with both appearance and long-term performance in mind, ensuring the homes would remain practical and attractive for years to come.
